WHAT DOES A FAT TRANSFER GIVE?
Fat tissue transplantation gives us great opportunities to replenish the lost volume of the face or other areas of the body along with rejuvenation and regeneration of the skin due to the stem cells (ADSC - Adipose-Derived Stem Cells) contained in the fat tissue. The great advantage of fat tissue transplantation (lipotransfer, lipofilling) is the fact that access to this natural and completely safe filling material is practically unlimited. Thanks to this, this treatment becomes a very interesting alternative for patients who require the administration of a large number of ampoules of hyaluronic acid (or other fillers). To emphasize this, it is enough to mention that in most cases, 1 ampoule of hyaluronic acid has a volume of 1 ml (i.e. 1/5 teaspoon). In the case of lipotransfer, the volume of transplanted fat ranges from a dozen to several dozen (30-50 ml) milliliters.
● gives a natural filling effect
● rejuvenates and "thickens" the skin
● smooths out wrinkles
● stimulates skin cells to regenerate
● restores a youthful appearance
lifts the cheek line
reduces dark circles under the eyes
reduces the appearance of scars
WHAT DOES FAT TRANSFER INVOLVE?
After the fat is properly extracted from the abdomen, thighs, knees, it is centrifuged and administered to another place on the patient's body.
Both the site of collection and administration are anesthetized to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. It is very important to skillfully carry out the entire process because both the collection and the equipment used for this, centrifugation and administration have an impact on the subsequent "survival" of the transplanted tissue.
WHO IS FAT TRANSFER FOR?
● Patients with visible fat loss in the facial area.
● Patients with loss of skin elasticity of the face, neck, decolletage
● Patients with visible signs of aging on the hands
● Patients with atrophic scars, requiring replenishment of tissue after accidents and surgery.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
● pregnancy and breastfeeding
● active infections
● blood clotting disorder
● taking blood-thinning drugs
● cancerous diseases
BEFORE TREATMENT
Each procedure is preceded by 1-2 consultation visits at which the doctor assesses the patient's health, discusses the course and qualifies the patient for the procedure. Before the procedure, examinations should be performed (among others):
● blood count
● APTT
● INR
● anti-HCV
● anti-HBS
● CRP
● total bilirubin
● glucose
● ALAT, AspAT
● ionogram (Na, K)
AFTER TREATMENT
There may be bruising and swelling at the fat application site that lasts for several days. Intense exercise should be avoided for a week after the procedure. You should protect the treatment area from pressure, extreme thermal conditions and do not use hot baths, saunas and swimming pools.
Fat tissue undergoes natural absorption - for this reason, the effect achieved on the day of the procedure may diminish over the coming weeks. How much of the cells are absorbed depends on the body's individual predisposition. Sometimes it may be necessary to repeat the transplant if the treated area requires a large amount of tissue. The break between treatments must be a minimum of two months to wait for the effects of the first treatment to stabilize.
