WHAT ARE APTOS LIFTING THREADS?
The appropriate model of Aptos lifting threads is inserted through an insertion point into the subcutaneous tissues. The procedure is painless, as local anesthesia is used. Each thread has its own unique structure (patented protrusions or weaves), which allow it to effectively hook the tissues and lift them to their original natural position (zlifting). The way in which the thread attaches to the tissues is very important, as it affects the effectiveness of the procedure and varies depending on the zone into which the thread is implanted.
Each thread, after implanting into the tissues, is surrounded by a kind of "collagen cocoon" of fibrous tissue. This kind of cover for the foreign body (in this case, the thread), will support its position, and thus prolong the lifting effect. But importantly, it also creates a denser vascularization in the treatment area. The skin begins to receive a greater dose of oxygen and nutrients, more collagen and elastin fibers begin to form, the firmness of the skin improves, the skin is strengthened - in other words, there is an overall rejuvenation of the skin. And since the process of creating new tissues surrounding the thread takes about 6-8 weeks, it is so important that the thread does not change its position during this time and holds the elevated tissues well. This is what the advanced type of protrusions and weaves, selected to meet the needs of each individual patient's face, is responsible for.
FOR WHOM ARE APTOS LIFTING THREADS?
APTOS lifting threads allow you to achieve a sensational aesthetic effect without surgery. The result of the APTOS lifting threads procedure is a noticeable lifting of loose, flabby, drooping skin of the cheeks, forehead and chin. The effects are visible immediately after the procedure, but build up over time and last about 2-3 years, depending on the individual predisposition of the patient.

Feelings after the procedure and possible side effects
After the procedure there may be soreness, a pulling sensation, swelling, redness, temporary asymmetry, bruising, contour irregularity. In very rare cases, there may be an elevated temperature (more than 37.5 °C), throbbing pain, noticeable asymmetry, worsening of swelling. In that case, you should immediately report to our Clinic or to your doctor. As a rule, the healing period lasts 1-2 weeks, but after just a few days the patient can return to the daily rhythm of life.
Postoperative recommendations
Apply a cold compress to the treatment area within 24 hours of the procedure. For a period of 2-3 days, refrain from drinking hot drinks and eating hot meals, and from alcohol for more than two weeks. After the procedure, the patient is advised to wipe the puncture and needle exit sites at home with a spirit-based solution or, for example, Octenisept. In the period of about a week after the procedure, the patient is advised to limit facial activity (do not eat hamburgers, do not laugh loudly), do not use massages, avoid physical exertion such as fitness, do not use intensive warming procedures such as sauna baths or swimming pools.
Do not use any warming treatments (such as Venus Freeze or Apollo RF) in the treatment area for a period of not less than one month after the thread implantation procedure. As well as for a period of about two months, deep massage, physiotherapy and the use of other techniques - intradermally - are contraindicated.
