FACILITIES WHERE THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED

WHAT DOES PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) GIVE?

Platelet-rich plasma is used in skin rejuvenation and regeneration treatments. Plasma contains numerous growth factors that stimulate the skin to produce new collagen and blood vessels, and intensify the formation of new epidermal cells. The result is skin regeneration, improved elasticity, density and tone, and wrinkles are smoothed. There is an increase in blood circulation and hydration of the skin, making it visibly younger and glowing.

WHAT IS PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)?

After the painless collection of blood from the patient, the PRP preparation process follows, involving centrifugation of the blood in a special centrifuge using an appropriate treatment algorithm (strength and duration of centrifugation) so as not to damage the platelets or lead to their premature activation. Recent studies show that it is definitely more beneficial to administer platelets in "inactive" form. Only after administration is there a slow activation and secretion of growth factors and the skin has time to fully absorb and utilize them. All the salutary substances are secreted by our own autologous platelets. Appropriate centrifugation but also concentration of plasma allows us to obtain platelet-rich plasma (PRP), i.e. plasma with increased platelet density many times over. After receiving such plasma, the doctor proceeds to inject the patient depending on the selected treatment area. Observation of the effects is a very individual matter. They should appear about 2 weeks after the procedure and deepen up to 6 weeks.

FOR WHOM IS PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP)?

The treatment is indicated for people who want to :
● revitalize the skin
● improving skin tone

● smooth and shallow wrinkles and furrows

CONTRAINDICATIONS

● Blood coagulation disorders
● Blood diseases

● Active herpes or other skin infections

BEFORE TREATMENT

This procedure does not require special preparation.

AFTER TREATMENT

There is visible redness at the injection sites, which disappears after a few minutes and is invisible under makeup. TECHNOLOGY

Platelets and growth factors:
Platelets, which are an integral part of the whole blood flowing in our vessels, have many tasks. Their most important function is undoubtedly the role they play in blood clotting and the subsequent regeneration of damaged tissue.
Appearing at the site of damage, they begin to secrete salutary growth factors:
PDGF (Platelet derived growth factor), which plays a special role in angiogenesis. It improves blood supply and oxygenation of the skin with a positive effect on skin tone and nutrition. Increases the number of fibroblasts (collagen-producing cells) dividing.

VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), a vascular endothelial growth factor, improves blood supply and oxygenation of the skin.

FGF (fibroblast growth factor), a fibroblast growth factor, plays a huge role in angiogenesis and wound healing by stimulating the proliferative processes of many cells.

EGF (epidermal growth factor) - epidermal growth factor acting on the epidermis, accelerates wound healing, improves skin nutrition and hydration, stimulates divisions of the creative layer of the epidermis - when compensated, this leads to a smoother epidermis and shallower wrinkles. EGF stimulates migration and proliferation of keratinocytes and mesenchymal cells (e.g. fibroblasts).

TGF-β (transforming growth factor β) - transforming growth factor β is responsible for controlling the proliferation of most cell types while possessing anti-inflammatory effects.

IGF factor - is one of the most important components of PRP. It is one of the basic growth factors. Its content in the blood decreases with the aging process. By inducing its secretion, we try to slow down this process.

"Vampire lift", "Youth from blood" are just some of the names of this procedure. After proper collection and preparation, your own blood and the salutary substances it contains will lead to the reduction of wrinkles and an excellent improvement in the appearance of your skin.
